At some point, we all seem to question our purpose in life. We wonder what we are supposed to do to make the world better. These thoughts can fill us with doubt and sometimes get us down.

But there’s good news. God has a purpose for you.

When He created you, He fashioned you in such a way that you could accomplish things that build His kingdom.

But that’s not all.

Not only did He create you with the ability to accomplish great things, He also prepared specific tasks that would utilize your gifts.

Maybe it’s a person only you can reach.

Maybe it’s a ministry you are supposed to start.

Maybe it’s a gift of encouragement you are to lavish on hundreds and thousands of people.

Look in your heart. Look around you.

Ask God to open your eyes.

And get busy!

“Heavenly Father, open my eyes to the tasks and opportunities You have set before me.”

This is a good message. I do think it’s also important to remind those whom God has called to minister to a few that they are as significant as those who are called to minister to thousands. “Great things” doesn’t rely on number but on fulfilling what God has called them to do.

    You’re doing a great work.
