For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. Prayer: LORD, to go to church, know about You, and be involved in spiritual activities is not what You desire for me. You desire more: You want a genuine relationship. I desire not just to know about You but to know You intimately. Help me learn from the examples of the past, grow in knowledge and maturity in our relationship, and always make it the first priority of my life. I want Your best, therefore I set my heart to give You my best. Do whatever You need to do to make it so. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
