Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. Prayer: LORD, I am grateful that I am valuable in Your sight and that You have a specific and unique purpose for my life. This applies regardless of what others think of me or how I see myself. Help me see myself as You see me. Enable me to comprehend, understand, and fulfill Your purpose. Since it is You who enables me, I rest in the certainty that whatever I am and accomplish is by You, through You, and because of You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
