They assembled at Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign. At that time, they sacrificed to the LORD seven hundred head of cattle and seven thousand sheep and goats from the plunder they had brought back. Prayer: LORD, some choices are easy to make, but those “with all my heart and soul” decisions are entirely another sort! Give me the courage to commit my life to You with all my heart and soul. Help me hold firm to that commitment for the rest of my life, regardless of circumstances, consequences, or whatever it takes to honor it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
