But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. Prayer: LORD, when I become impatient with You because You do not meet my expectations, help me remember that You do not exist to meet my demands. I was created (and therefore exist) to be in balance with You. Your timing is and will always be proven best. Though I struggle when things do not happen as I think they should help me adjust my expectations by trusting You in everything that concerns my life. Even–and especially–when I do not understand, I set my heart to trust You to do what is best. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
