Acts 16:25-26 NIV

About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once, all the prison doors flew open, and everybody’s chains came loose. (Acts 16:25-26 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, when circumstances or feelings are so oppressive that I feel like a captive, help me remember that You can shake any prison and break any chain. Give me the strength to acknowledge You in praise and gratitude from the darkest places of my life. The doors will open, chains will fall, and my release will come as certainly as morning comes after midnight. Thank You for Your unfailing promises and unconditional love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
