Prayer: LORD, because things went wrong in the past does not mean they cannot go right in the future. You determine my future; my past does not. Help me put aside fear and surrender my past–with all its pain, regret, and hopelessness–to You and thereby allow You to make a better future than I can now imagine. Increase my faith to believe this and trust You to do whatever You need to do to make it so. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
