Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.” (Heb 4:7 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, what a thought! I used to think about things with You being in an everlasting perspective. You have a plan and purpose for this day–this very “today.” Help me understand what is in Your mind for me today. Then, help me do it, be it, fulfill it, or accomplish it! This sounds simple. It both is and is not. I need Your help. I know You will help me, and I thank You for it. What are we going to do today? In Jesus’ name, Amen.
