Josh 7:6,7,10 NLT

Joshua and the leaders of Israel tore their clothing in dismay, threw dust on their heads, and bowed down, facing the Ark of the LORD until evening. Then Joshua cried out, “Sovereign LORD, why did you bring us across the Jordan River if you are going to let the Amorites kill us? If only we had been content to stay on the other side! But the LORD said to Joshua, “Get up! Why are you lying on your face like this? (Josh 7:6,7,10 NLT)

Prayer: LORD, when paralyzing depression like Joshua experienced comes, give me the courage to look to You instead of inward to my feelings. Enable me to stand up and walk in Your strength through feelings to the healing and restoration You have for me. I will overcome by trusting Your unconditional love, unfailing promises, and infinite grace over what I feel. Thank You for making it so in the reality of our relationship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
