“Am I leading a rebellion,” said Jesus, “that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest me. Prayer: LORD, like that young man, I have at times felt uncovered and vulnerable. I have at times run away from people and circumstances. I have, at times abandoned You when You needed me. When I feel afraid, help me trust that You understand and care about my situation. Teach me how to stand firm in, for, and with You regardless of what is happening around us. You are always there when I need You. Help me to be there when You need me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
