Prayer: LORD, sometimes the news in the world is so bad that it seems there are few good people left. When I cannot see a way to avoid the violence, corruption, and evil influences around me, help me remember that my well being depends on You and Your authority expressed in my life. Give me courage to pray regardless of what happens. Express through me what You wish to express in this world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
