Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do. Avoid all perverse talk; stay far from corrupt speech. Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet, then stick to the path and stay safe. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil. (Prov 4:23-27 NLT)

Prayer: LORD, living with wisdom and integrity does not happen without determination and intention. Excuses are irrelevant. Teach me how to make wise decisions and use wisdom in what I allow in my life. Help me to be especially wary of who and what I expose myself to. I alone am responsible for what I do. I am accountable to You as well. If I am distracted by looking in the wrong direction or place, help me get back on the path and not stray from it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
