And He called for a famine on the land; He broke the whole staff of bread. He sent a man before them, Joseph, being sold for a servant, whose feet they hurt with chains; he was laid in iron until the time that his word came, the Word of Jehovah refined him. The king sent and set him free, the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all he owned, (Psa 105:16-21 MKJV)

Prayer: LORD, when I see nothing good coming from my present circumstances, help me remember Joseph. His situation looked far from Your promises, yet, what You said happened for him. Regardless of my circumstances, Your promises can happen for me too. Nothing can prevent what You have decreed for me except my unbelief. So, help me trust You with all my heart and look to what You have said more than how things appear. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
