Prayer: LORD, I want to be faithful and consistent in prayer. Cause me to understand what prayer should be. I want it to be not a lifeless, religious ritual but a genuine outpouring of my love for You. I expect Your response–and I thank You in advance for this. As I communicate with You, help me to recognize and understand Your communication with me in everything that concerns my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
