You may say, “What terrible people you have been talking about!” But you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you condemn yourself, for you do these very same things. And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. Do you think God will judge and condemn others for doing them and not judge you when you do them, too? (Rom 2:1-3 NLT)
Prayer: LORD, forgive me for inappropriately judging and condemning others. Regardless of what they do or do not do, I should be more concerned with my relationship with You and living in agreement with You than judging them for their choices. Help me to be mindful that You are the Judge, and I am not. Teach me how to be strong, bold, and outspoken in what You show me is right without vilifying others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
