Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?

The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.

The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life come upon us–and all of us will experience them–we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God.  The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God’s power to lift us above them.

God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm.

Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.

The Bible says, “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” Isaiah 40:31

This this is so beautiful I read in Joel’s and Victorious devotional book of Hope I’ve read through it one whole time and I’m reading it again and the one title it stated don’t let the storm in that’s where I got my message I need it for today about the storm if you’re in a boat and there is a storm as long as the water don’t come in the boat you won’t sink an eagle knows before the storm comes he spreads his wings and ride it that picture that you have is a perfect example we can ride the storm trust God

Amen, just days ago was talking with a friend about this topic. A weekend ago I had to bury my grandfather who passed away, but I know that he is better now and his wife told me that he accepted Jesus as his savior. He didn’t believe before when my dad used to talk to him bout the Lord. With great sorrow me and my family buried him, but a few days ago, I was talking with my best friend bout the struggles in life and comparing it with the eagle when the storm comes. Today I read this and it shocks me a little cause it was the same thought that you exposed in this post. God bless you on everything you are doing for the spreading the Word

when its a stormy rain, all the birds stay in shelters; eagles often fly above the clouds, keeping the stormy rain below its talons. Problems in life is as common as rains, when we face a stormy rain in life, go up to the upper room, keeping the stormy rain under our knees.
