Have you ever felt like your life was in a pit?

Perhaps your marriage has grown stale, your job is going nowhere fast, your passion for God and the church is waning, or you seem to lack fulfillment and meaning.

Let me ask you—how deep is your pit? 20 feet? 100 feet? 1,000 feet? I have good news for you.

Whatever the depth of your pit, God has a rope that’s one foot longer, just the right length to pull you up and out!

And not only does He lower the rope, Jesus comes down to you on that rope—just like He came down to us in Bethlehem—and brings you back up.

So be encouraged! Whenever you find yourself in a pit, call out to God. He’s always ready and willing to drop His rescue rope to you.

He lifted me up from the pit of despair, out of the miry clay; He set my feet upon a rock, and made my footsteps firm. Psalm 40:2
