You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. -Isaiah 26:3

If you fly long enough, you’ll eventually experience turbulence.

It’s uncomfortable at best, terrifying at worst as the plane bounces up and down, shakes, and even takes severe drops.

But the truth is, planes are made to handle turbulence. Vertical and horizontal stabilizers help steady the aircraft so it can maintain level flight.

God has equipped our hearts as a stabilizer to keep us steady in the turbulence of everyday life.

Our verse tells us that if we keep our minds “stayed” on God, He will give us a sense of safety and steadiness as we face the physical, emotional, and spiritual turbulence of life in this world.

So make sure you take time throughout the day to focus your thoughts on God, pray to Him, meditate on His Word. And trust He will keep you calm in the turbulence.

Praise the Lord! I can’t deny this message. If we keep our minds in God, He is ready to keep us calm in times of trouble.

Amen I can attest to that
