In order to keep a computer “clean” you must always maintain the data by checking for any bad internal links and repairing them on a regular basis.

If you don’t, your data can become corrupted and nothing will work properly.

If the bad links are left unchecked too long, it will have to be shut down and undergo major repairs. Usually a lot of time and money will be wasted, not to mention data as well.

It’s the same with our lives.

Sometimes we can have bad internal links to the spirit of this world. If they go unchecked, they can corrupt our minds and hearts.

If you are a Christian, the Holy Spirit will verify or confirm these “links” to your spirit and conviction will take place in your heart.

But if we ignore the conviction we feel, we put ourselves in danger of allowing the sin or corruption to fester and grow which will eventually defile our whole being.

Jesus said in John 14:30 that there was nothing in Him that was in common with the Spirit or Ruler of this world.

He had no bad internal links to any form of corruption. Jesus was sinless, perfect and pure in every way.

His Father was not of this world. Our Father isn’t either.

We can live a victorious life, as Jesus did, if we allow the Lord to rule our lives.

If we are willing, we will experience, on a regular basis, the internal repairing or cleansing in our hearts that only the Holy Spirit can perform.
