The Eagle

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?

The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.

The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

Christians in faraway countries who don’t have access to a radio station can listen to worship music and it doesn’t cost them a dime–our ministry picks up the tab. 	Ministry Spotlight: The WellHouse Each month, we highlight a ministry that is doing amazing work for The Lord somewhere in the world. The WellHouse is a nonprofit, faith-based, Christ-centered organization devoted to the rescue and recovery of women and girls who have been sexually exploited or a victim of human trafficking. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, we reach out to victims of sex trafficking across the United States. The WellHouse is the only 24-hour shelter offering immediate housing assistance to women being prostituted in the Southeast. To date, we have rescued and assisted in over 100 cases, ages ranging 13-54. Our first priority is rescue, beyond that we seek to offer housing, counseling, case management and other necessary services our ladies may need. Click here to learn more about The WellHouse.
