In ancient days, men would heat gold or silver to extreme temperatures that would burn away all the impurities.

Then with great skill, they hammered the metal into a desired form.

This was a process of many steps: heating, pounding, reheating, hammering some more, then plunging the metal into cooling water to harden the new shape.

This is how God transforms us.

He is always at work burning away the impurities and even hammering when He needs to, in order to conform us to the image of His Son.

So, let’s make sure we are taking time daily to join Him in the process by spending time with His “fire and hammer”:  His Word, the Bible.

And remember, He’s not done with His work in us yet.

Often because I’m busy I put the emails in a sub folder to later. But right on queue when I’m having a
particularly bad day, HE leads me to you and there it is the very message that I need to hear now.
Thankyou for all you do to bring this important message to us.
