	Ministry Spotlight: The WellHouse Each month, we highlight a ministry that is doing amazing work for The Lord somewhere in the world. The WellHouse is a nonprofit, faith-based, Christ-centered organization devoted to the rescue and recovery of women and girls who have been sexually exploited or a victim of human trafficking. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, they reach out to victims of sex trafficking across the United States. The WellHouse is the only 24-hour shelter offering immediate housing assistance to women being prostituted in the Southeast. To date, they have rescued and assisted in over 100 cases, ages ranging 13-54. Their first priority is rescue, beyond that they seek to offer housing, counseling, case management and other necessary services the ladies may need. Click here to learn more about The WellHouse.
