A Prayer for Today
A Prayer for Today

Dear Lord,

I thank you for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God.

You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through Your eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth of my wrong doing, and receive forgiveness.

And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example---to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits...

Letters From Our Listeners–December 2014
Letters From Our Listeners–December 2014

Some encouraging emails we received in December from our listeners around the world:

Location: Unknown Comments: It is my privilege and pleasure to be able to support this ministry. I strongly enjoy the music you play and I feel a powerful anointing on it. I live and work as house manager and house mom at a faith based women's transitional home and I play it throughout the home to set a positive atmosphere of worship and praise.

Location: Victoria, Canada Comments: What a God send you truly are for me! Thank you so much. I am a dedicated listener of a radio station here but as of Thanksgiving day they play only Christmas carols. Don't get me wrong, I like Christmas Carols, but it's just too much. I crave my Christian music! I do not have a CD player, only in my car, and even the Christian radio programs on my TV are all playing Christmas carols. So finally, at long last, I decided to Google Christian online music and got you guys. I love, love, love what you are playing! Thank you for truly blessing me and I'm sure many, many others with your great Christian music.

A Blessing for the AllWorship Ministry

Each week, we send out this Inspirational email to our subscribers; then we post it on our blog. On average, we probably get about 10 readers that will send us a comment on how a particular story touched them. Typically, about 100 people "like" that post on Facebook and another 25 on Pinterest.

A year ago, we sent out and posted a poem entitled "My First Christmas in Heaven". It's a touching poem by Wanda Bencke about a loved one that has passed away and is spending the first Christmas in heaven. It received the "typical" response when we initially posted it on December 23, 2013.

But something out of the ordinary happened in early December of 2014. Someone on Facebook must have posted a link to that story on AllWorship, and it took off. We started seeing an extraordinary number of comments being sent in. And not just any comments; heartwarming, tear-filled comments about how much the story meant to them since they had just recently lost a loved one.

The comments kept coming in every day, as the poem on AllWorship kept getting shared and liked by more and more people.

To show the power of social media, the number of Facebook "likes" climbed (remember, it's usually an average of 100) to 29,000 on December 22, to 71,000 on December 24, to 99,000 on December 30. It also had 3,700 people share it on Pinterest.

This brought in thousands of new visitors to AllWorship. But more importantly, it spread the word about the wonder and joy of living eternally with our Lord in heaven.

It is obvious. This was not orchestrated by anything we did.

Our ministry was blessed.
